Poor game performance can be caused by a number of issues. While we are always continuing to optimize the game, here are some steps you can take to ensure an optimal play experience. 

 If recording video or streaming (OBS, Steam Recorder, etc.), try playing the game without this software running to ensure your hardware is capable of playing while recording/streaming. Other applications may also monopolize VRAM or other system resources that impact game performance, so opt into any multitasking accordingly.

 The engine tries to estimate GPU performance and set video settings accordingly. As many hardware configurations are possible, this estimate will not always be accurate for your system. Feel free to experiment with lower quality settings.

 Depending on CPU, the game may perform worse on desktop when a very high-frequency input device is used. Polling rates higher than 1k will have no perceivable effect on gameplay, so consider lowering the poll rate to see if this improves the overall experience.
